Social Media usage by business/brands has been increasing as the social networking sites are redefining marketing and advertising. Here is a analysis from Pew Internet & American Life Project survey on how the different age groups of users engage in Social Networking growth in recent years.
In the recent months the social networking users in the age group of 65+ has doubled and the users in the age group of 50 -64 have also increased significantly. Facebook and LinkedIn experienced the major chunk of growth among the senior users.
