Online ad spend have been on the increase mainly due to the rise of social networks. According to a study by e-marketer Facebook accounts for 50% of the ad spend on social networks in the US.
Facebook’s ad spend in India has gone up by 40% according to Komli Media. Also Facebook replaced Orkut as the most visited site in India back in July 2010. Facebook recently opened its first office in Hyderabad, to attract the local talent in India.
