For Samsung Greece, we created a joyful and interactive Augmented Reality filter during the Christmas season — designed to bring smiles, drive engagement, and spread festive cheer.
This light hearted AR filter allowed users to discover “Which Samsung product is your Christmas special?” — turning a simple social interaction into a fun brand moment that connected emotionally with audiences. Participants could share their results on stories for a chance to win coupons, further amplifying reach and participation.
At the heart of this campaign was simplicity and joy — two qualities that make AR filters such powerful tools for modern marketing. The experience required no app downloads or complex steps; users simply activated the effect on Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook), let the filter randomly reveal their “Christmas special” Samsung product, and could instantly share the fun with friends and followers.
Important to note that Meta has since deprecated the platform, but these kinds of experiences can be built for TikTok, Snapchat and WebAR as well/
